Coral Gables, FL — September 1, 2026 — Barakat + Bossa is pleased to announce the appointment of Jesse O’Hara as Business Development Director, strengthening the Firm’s leadership team as it continues to expand client relationships, develop new business opportunities, and advance its long-term growth initiatives.
O’Hara brings more than a decade of experience in the legal industry and a unique combination of business development, client service, operational leadership, and legal experience. In his new role, he will work closely with the Firm’s attorneys and business leaders to identify opportunities, strengthen relationships with clients and referral partners, and support the continued growth of Barakat + Bossa across its practices and markets.

Prior to joining Barakat + Bossa, O’Hara owned and operated his own law practice, overseeing business operations, marketing, client development, and growth strategy. Through that entrepreneurial experience, he developed extensive relationships within the legal and business communities while gaining firsthand insight into the challenges, priorities, and decision-making processes facing clients and professional organizations.
As a licensed Florida attorney, O’Hara also brings a legal perspective to the Firm’s business development efforts. His background positions him to engage with in-house counsel, corporate legal departments, executives, and referral partners while developing a deeper understanding of their objectives and connecting them with the Firm’s attorneys, resources, and capabilities.

O’Hara holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Ethics, Society, and Law from the University of Toronto and earned his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law.
