Terrence Ayala has been in private practice for over fifteen years, and he is an expert in the fields of administrative and civil litigation, corporate representation, and corporate counseling. He began his career at private firms in Michigan and Florida, concentrating on public finance and commercial transactions.
Currently, he serves of Counsel to Barakat + Bossa, handling cases in Complex Business
Litigation and as an expert on federal and state court procedures. Prior to working with B2B, Mr. Ayala served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida where he completed over four hundred civil and criminal cases, including 21 federal jury trials.
He holds bachelor’s degrees from Princeton University and Florida Atlantic University in political science and computer science, respectively, as well as a JD from the University of Virginia. Mr. Ayala has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1991 and the State Bar of Michigan since 1987. He is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern, Middle, and Eastern Districts of Florida as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. Additionally, he is admitted to practice US Law by the Hanseatische Rechtsanwal Skammer Hamburg. Mr. Ayala is fluent in English and conversant in Spanish and German.
Mr. Ayala is also a member of the Princeton Club of South Florida and Association of Black Princeton Alumni.
