Shasmy Daly’s journey begins with her upbringing in the Dominican Republic to her pursuit of higher education in the United States, culminating in significant achievements and experiences in the legal and academic realms.
She relocated to the United States in 2018 to pursue her bachelor’s degree at Lynn University. During her time at Lynn, Shasmy founded the Sustainability Club and assumed multiple leadership and professional roles on campus. Her commitment to global issues led her to participate in the U.N Fellowship Program in 2019, where she focused on environmental sustainability.
During her senior year, she began working at the Palm Beach County Clerk’s Office. Here, she excelled as a Court Specialist in the County Civil Department, earning multiple promotions that head her to become a Senior Courtroom Administrator for the Felony Department. In this capacity, Shasmy collaborated closely with members of the legal system, gaining invaluable insights on courtroom decorum and litigation.
In 2021, she achieved her goals of graduating, achieving Summa Cum Laude honors in Political Science with a minor in Psychology. She then transitioned to a boutique law firm specializing in civil litigation and eviction proceedings. Looking ahead, Shasmy plans to pursue her JD in 2025, further enriching her legal acumen.
Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys cooking, writing, and exploring the city, accompanied by her beloved adopted dog. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is adept at navigating diverse legal landscapes and communicating effectively with clients.
