Jason Silveira is a 2L with interests in civil litigation and trial advocacy. He earned his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Economics and Political Science from the University of Florida.

Jason has gained legal experience through litigation-focused law clerk roles and as a Research Assistant at FIU Law, assisting Professor Ediberto Roman on legal scholarship relating to Birthright Citizenship and the Corruption of Blood principle.

At FIU Law, Jason serves as a Research Editor for the Latin American and Caribbean Law Review and is a Staff Member of the Negotiation and Mediation Team. He has also received CALI Awards in Contracts, Civil Procedure, Property, and Legal Skills & Writing II.

His interests include fishing, reading, and barbering.
