HISTORY

Ms. Angelique Gulla is an Attorney with Barakat + Bossa, where she focuses on commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Angelique studied at Florida International College of Law graduating Cum Laude in May 2019 and passing the Florida Bar in the July 2019 Administration.

During her law school career she was the President of the FIU Board of Appellate Advocates for the 2018-2019 Moot Court Team. As President, she created the problem and record for the Fall 2018 Intramural Moot Court Competition and orchestrated the event, including gathering judges, setting up oral arguments, and hosting a reception. Additionally, as a member of the team she was a Sweet Sixteen Finalist at the E. Earle Zehmer Moot Court Competition. She was also the Secretary of the Labor and Employment law society, an active member in the FIU Business Law Society, a teaching assistant for the Legal Skills and Value Course I and II. Moreover, she was a research assistant for Professor Howard Wasserman, with acknowledgments in Professor Wasserman’s Understanding Civil Rights Litigation and Infield Fly Rule Is In Effect: The History and Strategy of Baseball’s Most Famous Rule. Lastly, Angelique is was a graduate of the FIU Law PREP Program, where she attended various events specializing in networking, ethics, and professionalism.

In her free time she likes to participate in a recreational softball league, travel, and attend concerts.
