Eliana Cotton

Eliana Cotton is a 3L at the University of Miami School of Law, where she is a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Central Florida and is building a legal career at the intersection of business, real estate, and emerging regulatory frameworks.

Eliana’s academic interests include securities regulation, cryptocurrency, and real estate law. She gained hands-on experience working with a real estate attorney and broker, where she conducted zoning research, prepared city submissions, and drafted lease agreements. Her practical understanding of transactional work and regulatory compliance is complemented by her involvement in the Fashion Law Society at Miami Law, where she explores the legal needs of fashion and luxury goods industries.

Eliana aims to build a practice that combines her legal expertise with a deep understanding of business strategy and lifestyle-driven industries. Outside of law, she runs a small business selling second-hand and vintage clothing, blending her entrepreneurial spirit with her passion for fashion.
