Alejandra Muñiz Marcial is an attorney in Barakat + Bossa’s Aviation and Bankruptcy + Creditors’ Rights practice groups. She advises clients on a broad range of aviation regulatory and transactional matters, including FAA compliance, aircraft acquisitions, and airport lease negotiations. In her bankruptcy practice, Ms. Muñiz Marcial represents creditors and debtors in complex insolvency proceedings, workouts, and related litigation.

Prior to joining Barakat + Bossa, Ms. Muñiz Marcial practiced aviation law at a boutique aviation Firm in Coral Gables. Earlier in her career, she practiced at law firms in South Florida, representing business owners and entrepreneurs in both litigation and transactional matters.

Ms. Muñiz Marcial earned her J.D. from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law and holds a M.B.A from Ana G. Méndez University. A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, she is fluent in English and Spanish, enabling her to serve a diverse domestic and international client base with clarity and precision.

She is admitted to practice in Florida, as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
