Andrew Peters is a trial lawyer who represents clients in high-stakes civil cases spanning various fields of law. Mr. Peters has developed specialties in contract and complex business disputes, employment litigation, and professional regulatory matters — representing professionals facing disciplinary complaints within their respective fields. Before joining Barakat + Bossa, Mr. Peters built a distinguished litigation career as an Assistant Public Defender, where he tried more than thirty felony jury trials to verdict. He later operated a solo practice handling a broad range of criminal, probate, and civil matters, including business and employment-related litigation. His commitment to public service was reflected in extensive pro bono representation of criminal clients who did not qualify for court-appointed counsel.
