Tereza Horáková focuses her practice on business and real estate litigation. Ms. Horáková works closely with clients to understand their story and develop a case plan tailored to the client’s goals and budget.
Focusing on drafting and global case strategy, Ms. Horáková has handled all aspects of civil cases up to trial and on appeal in Florida and New York state and federal courts. Her practice includes matters such as restrictive trade covenants, “business divorces”, disputes involving foreign persons, recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments, and fraud-based disputes.
Originally from Prague, Czech Republic, Ms. Horáková first obtained a law degree at the Charles University in Prague in 2015. During her studies there, Ms. Horáková was selected to participate in a Dual Degree Law Program with Nova Southeastern University in Miami, resulting in her second law degree in 2017. While at Nova, Ms. Horáková participated in the ILSA journal and won a moot court competition.
The unique dual expertise and language skillset has allowed Ms. Horáková to become a trusted advisor to a portfolio of Czech and Italian clients.
