BIOGRAPHY

Serena Fichera is an attorney in the firm’s Corporate and Real Estate practice groups, where she represents domestic and international clients in a broad range of commercial transactions, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and complex real estate deals. She advises clients across industries on the full lifecycle of transactions—from entity formation and corporate governance to structuring, negotiation, and execution of strategic deals.

Prior to joining Barakat + Bossa, Ms. Fichera practiced in the corporate and M&A groups of two prominent international law firms, where she handled cross-border transactions and advised on matters involving corporate restructurings, commercial contracts, and ESG compliance. Her experience spans both U.S. and European markets, with a strong emphasis on U.S.-Italy inbound and outbound transactions.

Fluent in both English and Italian, Ms. Fichera brings a global perspective to her practice and regularly counsels clients navigating the legal and regulatory complexities of doing business across jurisdictions.

Ms. Fichera holds a Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza from Roma Tre University in Rome, Italy. She earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University, graduating first in her class.
