A passionate student of the evolving relationship between law and art, Mr. Akiba closely follows developments in art law and frequently speaks and participates as a panelist on the topic.
Before joining Barakat + Bossa, Mr. Akiba served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Beth Bloom of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Mr. Akiba earned his B.A. from the University of Maryland. He completed his J.D. at Florida International University graduating magna cum laude.
