Julieta is an Associate Attorney focusing on complex commercial litigation in State and Federal Courts across Florida. With expertise in pre-litigation matters, she represents businesses and individuals in diverse areas, including business litigation, employment law, appellate practice, intellectual property, probate litigation, condominium association disputes, immigration, and personal injury. 

Cuban native raised in Miami, Julieta earned her bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Florida International University, with a minor in music and a Certificate in Translation Studies.

Before joining Barakat + Bossa, Julieta honed her skills at prestigious law firms in New Jersey and Florida, successfully handling complex commercial litigation and high-exposure cases for large corporate clients. She also served as a Staff Attorney at South Jersey Legal Services, Inc., addressing wage and labor disputes in their Migrant Farmworker Unit. Additionally, Julieta clerked for the Honorable Rodney Cunningham in the New Jersey Superior Court, Atlantic County.

In March of 2023, Julieta was part of a trial team of attorneys that successfully litigated an inverse condemnation case on behalf of a beach-front landowner against the City of Boca Raton in the Southern District of Florida before the Honorable Rodney Smith. 

She is admitted to both the Florida and New Jersey Bar, having earned her JD from Rutgers University School of Law. During her time at Rutgers, Julieta distinguished herself by competing in a national Moot Court competition, serving as Vice President of the Rutgers Intellectual Property Law Clinic, and receiving prestigious scholarships such as the South Jersey Alumni Scholarship and the Chief Judge Helen W. Nies Intellectual Property Law Scholarship.

Julieta is detail-oriented and prides herself on her commitment to the highest standards of ethics and professionalism to ensure that clients receive individualized attention, addressing their concerns with integrity and in the most optimal fashion.

In her free time, Julieta is an avid traveller and art lover who enjoys attending live Opera performances, visiting museums, and spending time with friends and family.
