HISTORY

Mr. Bryan Hernandez is a retired Colonel, US Army, who led multiple Infantry and Defense Department organizations in peacetime and combat around the world. Bryan recently served as the Inspector General for the United States Southern Command in Doral, Florida, where he was responsible for investigating government fraud, waste, and abuse, as well as whistleblower reprisal allegations and Defense Department senior-official misconduct and ethics violations. Bryan also served as a military exchange officer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and he is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.

Bryan is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor from Florida International University’s College of Law and will graduate in December 2021. Following graduation, Bryan plans to work in business litigation. 

At FIU Law, Bryan is a member of the Appellate Advocates Moot Court Team, serves as the 4L Business Law Society Representative, a Law School Student Mentor, and member of the Veterans and Military Affairs Law Student Association.
