Andrea Gomez is a seasoned marketing professional with a wealth of experience spanning various industries and roles.

In her current role as the Marketing Director at Barakat+ Bossa, Andrea Gomez leverages a strategic and innovative approach to propel brand expansion. Before assuming her current position, Andrea made significant contributions as a Program Associate Consultant for the Festival of the Diaspora (FOTD), a prominent event celebrating cultural diversity and fostering community connections. In this capacity, she spearheaded marketing, communications, and public relations efforts for the festival, successfully managing relationships with attendees and corporate sponsors while devising effective engagement strategies.

Prior to her tenure at FOTD, she honed her marketing skills as a Marketing Communications Consultant at Similarweb, one of the most successful Israeli analytics startups. Andrea embarked on her professional journey as a Legislative and Communications Consultant at the Senate of Colombia, where she dedicated three years to conducting thorough research and analysis on legislative matters. In this role, she engaged in lobbying efforts and advocacy activities to shape legislative outcomes and advance client interests. 

Andrea holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Politics from the Military University and is fluent in English and Spanish. During her free time, Andrea enjoys travelling, having lived in 7 countries and visited many more.
