Ali Iftikhar is a Senior Attorney with the firm’s litigation team and represents the business and personal interests of a wide array of clientele. He has an extensive background in litigation and prior to joining Barakat + Bossa he worked in the field for numerous years with large and mid-sized firms. He has previously obtained favorable results in a variety of legal matters including those involving complex civil and commercial litigation; construction defect litigation; products liability; wrongful death; and negligent security. He has also worked on substantial arbitration matters on issues ranging from business disputes to FINRA violations.
Ali spent his formative years growing up outside the United States in Asia and Africa, which allowed him to gain valuable insight on how to interact with a variety of people and understand their problems no matter how diverse their background. He uses the skills and knowledge he has garnered over the years to address his clients’ needs and ensure that he always works in their best interest. He attended the University of Miami for his undergraduate and legal studies and is a proud “Double Cane.” While in law school, he decided to devote his time to helping those in need and clerked for non-profit organizations that addressed human rights issues and provided protection for vulnerable communities.
Ali is also an avid sports fan and is a longtime supporter of Manchester United; the Miami Dolphins; the Miami Heat; and the Ferrari Formula One Team. He also thoroughly enjoys film and theatre and has participated in numerous stage productions since he was very young.
